Virgin mustard oil is for me if:

- I’like raw, authentic products
- I'm looking to strengthen my hair, naturally
Suggestion 1: hair mask à the mustard - An oil bath from the sun
an ultra-strong mask Mix one-third castor oil and two-thirds mustard oil. For each use, for one pipette of the mixture, use one drop of geranium essential oil. With this you have a nourishing, strengthening pre-shampoo mask for all hair, including the driest. Apply it before your usual shampoo, rinse, enjoy your beautiful strong and shiny hair!
Suggestion 2: for fine hair - A toning recipe
le lieu.
It is here, on these lands, around these villages that Emmanuel cultivates the mustard plants and presses the seeds to obtain this powerful, marked, rooted mustard oil. In Burgundy.

Fortifying.
100% pure mustard oil, grown and cold pressed in France, in Burgundy. It is fortifying, it is sheathing, here is why:
Acid érucique:
The fortifier of your hair, it’s him. It’s a monounsaturated fatty acidé which sheathes the hair fiber. We don’t forget about it.
Linoleic acid (Oméga-6):
Essential fatty acid. Your body needs it but doesn’t produce it, it needs external inputs; it’s because our camelina oil is richly endowed with it that it’s so nourishing!
BRASSICA NIGRA SEED OIL
the team's word

Le mot des fondateurs sur notre huile végétale de graines de moutarde et ses vertus
We promise, our story won't get up your nose!
It all begins on a warm afternoon in Burgundy. We are in western Burgundy, not far from Nevers, the place where all life seems to be organized around the Loire. For those who go up the river, it is the pretty town of La Charité sur Loire and its historical center, the wine town of Sancerre, and very green landscapes that invigorate. I meet Emmanuel at the entrance to his Huilerie, a large courtyard where a few piles of seeds from the latest harvests are waiting to be pressed.
He shows me around.
He gives me a tour of the place, and we linger on the mustard and its specialties. He is very proud, Emmanuel, of his AOC Burgundy, and of the quality of his oils in general. When you see him, you understand in the first few seconds: he always has a thousand ideas in mind. While he explains to me without batting an eyelid that he is in the field and the press, that he knows the life cycle of his crops and the ways to press them to give a cold-pressed virgin oil, on his premises, I am only half of the way through.
The oil is a natural product, and the oil is a natural product.
On mustard press days, he tells me, it's only possible to go into the press room for 2 minutes, otherwise the pungent smell of mustard assaults you directly. He makes a first cold pressed oil, and his mustard oil has a nice orange/brown color, with a very strange characteristic smell at first, and then you get used to it! There is sometimes a small sensation of heating with the mustard, it is an oil of character. We wanted it because it corresponds well to the raw quality that we are looking for in our oils: no smell or color retouching, everything comes directly from the fields of Emmanuel, without pesticides, without addition. I could almost wish you a good tasting, but this oil is for your hair!

Questions we all have about mustard and its vegetable oil
Does mustard oil make hair and beard grow?
Veacute mustard oil is indeed known for its anti hair loss and hair growth promoting action. It also fights against dandruff and has a local warming effect on the scalp. It is often used in synergy, its effects being very powerful and its smell very pungent. This is due to allyl isothiocyanate, a compound derived from the grinding of mustard seeds. It is then very common to see mustard used as a mask, mixed for example with castor oil, carapate or Coconut oil, and as a hair treatment to stimulate growth and slow down hair loss. It is also very useful for beards. For your pleasure, do not hesitate to associate it with citrus essential oils, or anti-inflammatory essential oils such as katrafay or ravintsara to bring your mixture the power to soothe friction and micro cuts, keeping your beard royal!
.
What are the benefits of mustard oil for hair and hair growth?
Mustard oil is used externally on the scalp as well as in a mask or oil bath. A few spoonfuls are enough to apply in hair care and let it sit for 20-30 minutes. It stimulates hair growth, and blood circulation around the follicles.
A mask every 3 days or so will nourish your scalp and purify it over time. In synergy with essential oils, it is moreover very effective in boosting the shine and strength of your curls, the holding of your split ends. It can also be used in synergy with many other vegetable oils, such as avocado virgin oil which is also a great hair mask, as is baobab virgin oil.
Mustard oil on the face?
We recommend it especially for the hair, because of its pungent smell and the heating sensation it can have when used pure, and the discomfort it can cause. Also, having the mustard smell around the nose and the pungent sensation around the eyes can actually be uncomfortable, so we'll stick with our advice to use it for hair.
So, we're not going to use it for hair.
How to use it for hair growth: castor oil or mustard oil
The two are often compared as to their common effect: the growth and strength of hair, hair and cuticles. For example, you will hear a lot about it for its toning, stimulating, slightly warming effects, where castor oil will be more neutral. For example, the smell is quite obvious: virgin castor oil is odorless while the smell of mustard is strong and pungent. On the scalp, it is very effective to make an oil bath (pure or mixed with Coconut oil for example for more softness).
The texture of castor oil is thicker on the other hand, where mustard remains very fluid. In terms of active constituents, it differs from castor oil in the presence of ricinic acid, the oé castor oil derives its sprouting effects from its ricinolacute acid.
