This is for me if:

- I want a dry oil that deeply hydrates

- I want to get rid of my blemishes (pimples, acne and scars)

- I want an exceptional oil with vanilla scents

We don't recommend a DIY recipe for this oil: use it as is, it's made for you ;)

We looked for the best in vanilla and it is in the north of Madagascar that we found it (it also grows on the island of the union, even if the specialty of this plant comes back first to Madagascar). As the first producer of vanilla in the world, the best quality is found there, which is bourbon vanilla. Because of its price but also its quality, vanilla is also called black or green gold (depending on the quality). The flower of the orchid vanillia planifolia (from the orchid family, the only orchid among 20,000 species used for food purposes), opens only one day and is made manually: this is the process of pollination.

After fécondation, vanilla takes 1 to 2 months to reach its maximum size and 7 to 9 months to reach maturity. These are the stages of heating, drying and maturation. So the process takes almost a year before it is ready.

Vanilla oil is a very valuable oil in terms of its manufacture and cost. Macerated in Jojoba oil for an even more precise rendering, we have here given you the best of both worlds and effects. A non-food oil, but regenerative benefits

We're often asked, but no, our vanilla oil is not edible. Generally speaking, our vanilla oils are not sold as food because that means a different kind of ticking, different standards and different procedures.

Vanilla oil is therefore no exception to this title, especially since it comes from macerating beans in Jojoba oil, which is not an edible vegetable oil. No use for this one in cooking then, just in cosmetics where it will shine with its realizing virtues.

Antioxidant. Healing. Hydrating.

Our oil is composed of jojoba oil (simmondsia chinensis seed oil) and vanilla bean (vanilla planifolia fruit), from Madagascar. The macération is made in our workshop in the Ardennes.

100% vanillia planifolia. Vanilla is rich in vitamins B, B5 and B6 which give it anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and healing virtues.

Vitamin B

Gainful, strengthening, nourishing. Grâce à this vitamin, jojoba oil is so effective for your hair. Your ends will thank you.

Vitamin B5 (Pantothic Acid)

Favors wound healing. Vitamin B5 participates in the formation and regeneration of skin and mucous membranes.

Vitamin B6:

It’s one of the most important vitamins for the body. It contributes to the synthesis and degradation of proteins

Oleic acid (Oméga 9):

The last of the three essential fatty acids: to nourish your skin over the long term, restore its suppleness, repair it. The bum is composed of 30% of it.

Vitamin E:

The natural preservative. No need to add or chemical, vitamin E is naturally present in jojoba oil. The anti-acute action is thanks to it.

Proposal collected from Dorian, somewhere in a cafe;

Vanilla oil, for us, is the goal of an adventure. Why do you ask? Well because before, as with carrot oil, the raw materials we had came to us from producers in France and Madagascar. With the vanilla oil, we sign our first creation of raw materials in the workshop, and become able to macerate the oils to be able to offer things completely untested, and especially whose quality and production we control completely.

The vanilla oil is a very special product, and we are very proud of it.

I can't hide from you that we were super proud to say that this is it, we had a raw material, even if the Jojoba is pressed in Madagascar, and the pods also come from the Great Island. But what changes everything for us: we can finally offer you a homemade ingredient, which we have worked in our workshop in the Ardennes. And the vanilla oil will allow us thanks to the acquired equipment and to the acquired know-how to be able to make Carrot oil afterwards.

And to make Carrot oil, we have to be able to make it in the same way.

And to make vanilla oil, we struggled. We tested different bean concentrations, macerating temperatures, carrier oils. Everyone macerates the pods in virgin seed oil. It's good, it's even very good, but we like Jojoba, so we did it. First we went around to our producers, we went around to other producers of macerated oil. But no one wanted to do it, so we did it.

We left it up to them.

We left a pod in the bottle to show you that we care about the quality of this oil, that we want to put the best ingredients in it, without diluting the vanilla or adding artificial flavors, respecting the macerating method in a neutral vegetable oil. The result? A cute little bottle that smells divine, as a massage oil, as an anti-acute care, as a pleasure oil for your scrubs, vanilla, we're not ready to turn the page!

Your questions about vanilla oil

Are we talking about vanilla oil or Vanilla essential oil?

We are talking about vanilla oil here, this one étant obtained by macerating raw drops of vanilla in a carrier oil such as virgin sunflower oil, Sésame or at home Jojoba for an even more precious oil. The essential oil of vanilla is the result of a very different know-how. Indeed, the essential oils are generally issued from the distillation by steam distillation. To make vanilla essential oil (rather called vanilla absolute or vanilla extract), we will instead macerate several pods in pure alcohol and steam the alcohol to recover the essence, but this is not the same product as our vanilla oil.

What are the essential oils?

What are its properties for body, face and hair?

We recommend our vanilla oil for the softening and balancing effects of Jojoba, and for the purifying and antioxidant effects of vanilla. Côt sensory, we obviously recommend the voluptuousness of this oil and the discreet and bewitching scent it gives off.

For the face: it is a very delicate night care that will deeply nourish your skin and make it soft and satin-like. It is suitable for all skin types including the driest.

What to use this vanilla oil for?

This oil is used as a local application on the skin, for the face in particular, and as an external use always. We thought of it as an oil that will help you fight the signs of aging thanks to the antioxidant properties of vanilla and the balancing properties of Jojoba. Let its bewitching scent guide you as well, especially right before you go to bed.

For the more motivated among you, our vanilla oil can also be used as a primer for your home care, much like a vanilla extract. Keep your preparations away from heat and sudden temperature changes!
