Use a few drops of our make-up oil all over your face, massage in and rinse off, or use a cotton pad to remove excess make-up. Its oily texture will have a very light effect on your skin and will have soothing properties.

The product can also be used as part of a double-cleansing skincare routine, meaning you can combine the makeup oil with your usual cleansing gel! What's more, it contains no essential oils, so it's suitable even for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Make-up oil: a fatty substance?

Make-up and impurities are generally lipophilic, which means they are soluble in a fatty substance. That's why we use make-up remover oil. In fact, thanks to its composition rich in vegetable oils, it's a highly effective fatty substance for removing all types of impurities in addition to make-up.

What is double cleansing?

Double cleansing, or double cleansing, is a principle in skincare consisting of à giving great importance à the cleansing part of the skin. It's very important to practice this double cleansing since your skin is always prone to impurities in addition to make-up, so the skin's pores must be unclogged in order to avoid the appearance of imperfections.

Double cleansing, as the name suggests, requires two steps:

Makeup removal: the best thing here is to use products with lipophilic textures, meaning that they are attracted to oil. you could use our oil, for example!
Cleansing: This involves cleansing the skin with an aqueous phase. You can use a product with a hydrophilic texture, i.e. one that likes water. This phase removes impurities that cannot be removed with lipophilic textures. In fact, it complements the oil phase. In this way, it provides a deep cleansing of the skin.

What oil to use to remove waterproof makeup?

Of course! Our product is natural, made only with vegetable oils and a natural mulsifier. It comes in a glass bottle with a glass and bamboo pipette, making it similar in use to the rest of our products! What's more, it has soothing properties, regulates sebum production, moisturizes and fights skin aging.

How to remove makeup with makeup-removing oil

To remove make-up with oil, pour a few drops into the palm of your hand and warm palm to palm. You'll then need to massage all over your face, making small circles from the inside to the outside of your face.

Why use make-up oil?

Makeup oil is a fatty substance, and its advantage is that it removes all types of makeup, including waterproof. Also, it does not grease the skin and is therefore suitable for all skin types

Is make-up removal oil suitable for oily skin and eyes?

Yes! It's a product that doesn't grease the skin, so even oily skin can benefit from it! Makeup oil helps to preserve the skin's moisture, soothe it and strengthen its lipid barrier, essential for balanced, luminous, clear skin. It's also ideal for removing makeup from the eyes and around the eye contour area!

What's the difference between makeup removing oil and micellar water?

Micellar water is a cleansing water composed of micelles, which are detergent surfactants that trap impurities on the skin. Even though the concentration of detergent is low, it must be rinsed off to avoid drying the skin. Also, micellar water is not recommended for removing make-up from the eyes and eye contours, as you would need to rub this sensitive area too hard to remove the make-up. To use it properly, you'll need to choose an alcohol- and fragrance-free product and rinse it off!

Oil make-up remover, on the other hand, moisturizes, regenerates and softens the skin, as well as completely removing make-up. Its oily texture removes all traces of make-up, from the lightest to the most stubborn. Make-up remover oil is less aggressive on the skin, so there's less risk of irritation.

Can it be used as a cleansing oil?

You can indeed use our oil as a cleansing oil thanks to the presence of hazelnut oil. In fact, hazelnut oil has cleansing and absorbent properties, which help regulate the production of sebum. As a result, it has both make-up-removing and cleansing properties.
