RAVINTSARA ESSENTIAL OIL - 5ML
Ravintsara translates as "good leaf" in Malagasy, it is a plant well known on the island to facilitate sleep, fight against nervousness and strengthen natural defenses. We could not pass by this immense potential, this major oil of aromatherapy is a real Swiss Army knife of well-being... Used for millennia to heal and purify the body, it is a natural antiseptic that also allows you to relax!
We visit each production workshop, we know each producer, we have tested and re-tested each of the products: we put our heart into the work, and we hand label every bottle of oil! We strive to find the producers most committed to the quality of their products, to respecting nature, and we pay them fair value for their efforts.

Ravintsara essential oil, it is a very well known concentrate and outside of Madagascar, but one of the most recognized and advised in aromatherapy.
A true ally of the immune system, essential oil of winter, colds and flu par excellence, it is the enemy of viral diseases and is part of the long list of essential oils of camphor trees. We are talking here about cinnamomum camphora (its Latin name, which is also its official name on the INCI lists), otherwise known as ravintsara, not to be confused with "ravensare", the name of another plant that unfortunately does not have the same effects: ravensara aromatica, which is - force of destiny - also Malagasy.
In terms of scent, you can expect a trip to the land of freshness, the very clear notes of this oil are reminiscent of eucalyptus and peppermint. No doubt many of you will think of cold care when inhaling it.
The oil is a great way to fight the cold.
To fight against fatigue and give a little boost to your days, dilute with a vegetable oil and massage the back, along the spine, wrists, feet, also in a bath diluted in a neutral base, or in olfaction, many uses are possible, and the main ones are listed in the recipe section.

the team's word
Le mot des fondateurs
Propositions collected from Dorian, one winter Sunday, while the sky was quite gray, far from the Ravintsara production area.
Ravinstara for us at Mira is an essential oil that is both classic and special. It is the very first of our range, the one we absolutely wanted to have to show the best of Madagascar. It is also our very first time at Blissim, ex Birchbox. For those who don't know, it's a monthly box that allows you to discover cosmetics, and a very good signal in our entrepreneurial journey: to be at Blissim is to be recognized in the world of cosmetics, so we were very proud of it!
And the first step for that: ravinstara. We had collaborated with the brand for a "limited edition" of 5000 bottles. I don't know if you realize it, but 5000 bottles is a lot of bottles. We started Mira only 1 year ago, and we were not at all equipped to go fast and produce in batches of more than 100 bottles. Well, we didn't go up, we did it, in two weeks. All day long we filled, closed, put the labels on. The next day? Filling, closing, putting in quilts, with a smell of ravintsara that never left us.
The fresh, mentholated, lightly camphorated scent: I can tell you that we know it by heart with Andy, it's a scent that we still love, and it's an oil that serves all the little worries of sore throats, colds, coughs, muscles, aches, tendinitis, sleep. Personally, I use it especially in winter, and in inhalation so that my nose is less taken. The freshness effect is immediate and very pleasant. In massage, I use less often because I have to take the time, but I advise especially when one has aches! It gives a great boost.
.Bref, I could talk about this little blue bottle for hours, because its possibilities are pretty crazy, and pretty varied. And the oil comes from an artisanal distillation, Madagascar, where the leaves left over after distillation are burned for ... the next distillation, so nothing is lost!
